In October 2003, I proudly obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Azad University Dental Center in Tehran, Iran. Following my graduation, I made a conscious decision to dedicate my skills to serving the greater good in Sirik, one of Iran's most deprived areas. Sirik faced a critical need for basic dental care, with over 40,000 people relying solely on me, a for oral healthcare. Working and residing in a 24-hour clinic, I remained on call every night to attend to dental emergencies. Beyond the sheer volume of patients., challenges such as limited equipment, the absence of a permanent assistant, unfamiliarity with the local language, and the relentless sweltering heat, collectively created a demanding work environment. However, this unique challenge served as an invaluable learning experience, instilling in me a sense of joy, confidence, and unwavering patience that have become the bedrock of my professional journey. Upon returning to Tehran, I translated my experience into practical care. Witnessing the gratitude in the eyes of my patient's loved ones who witnessed my work with their family members was an indescribably rewarding experience that has left an enduring impact on my memory. 7 Years of tireless dedication and perseverance in dental work in Tehran, cultivated within me the patience and conviction to set the bar even higher and pursue both personal and academic growth in the united states. In the US, I embarked on a journey of advanced training and education. These pursuits include: Preceptorship in Periodontics, University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry Advanced Implantology Preceptorship, University of California at Los Angeles, School of Dentistry Advanced Clinical Training in Restorative Dentistry, University of California at Los Angeles, School of Dentistry Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry In addition, I actively engage with professional organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), and the Seattle-King County Dental Society (SKCDS). These associations provide invaluable opportunities for ongoing development and learning. now I am wholeheartedly committed to utilizing my experience, knowledge, and abilities to serve the community of Bellevue and its surrounding areas. Why Dentistry? From a young age, I found immense joy in working with my hands. Hours spent creating intricate woodcarvings and detailed drawings nurtured my natural inclination toward artistic endeavors. Moreover, my mother's occupation as a nurse inspired me greatly. Witnessing the fulfillment she derived from caring for patients instilled in me a deep sense of pride and motivated me to pursue a similar path. When the time came to choose a career, dentistry was an effortless decision as it seamlessly integrated my passion for artistic expression with the fields of medical science. Dentistry's multidisciplinary nature perfectly aligned with my desire to create, heal, and care for others, offering me a sense of wholeness in my chosen vocation. Having practiced dentistry for over 20 years, I am resolute in my belief that I made the correct career choice all those years ago. I am genuinely passionate about assisting my patients in maintaining optimal oral health and enhancing their smiles. Moreover, I find immense excitement in the continuous advancements in dental technology and techniques that enable me to provide more comfortable, efficient, and effective care. In my practice, I particularly relish the interpersonal aspect of dentistry, cherishing the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships with my patients. The ability to alleviate dental fears and anxieties brings me profound satisfaction, knowing that my work positively impacts individuals' overall health and well-being. I firmly believe that dentistry is a unique blend of healing and artistry, where knowledge and dexterity converge to restore not only a person's oral health but also their nutrition, self-image, and, of course, their beautiful smile. Family My family, consisting of myself, my wife Neda, and our young daughter Mana, is a close-knit unit. We cherish the time we spend together and actively seek out new activities and experiences. Whether we're hiking, biking, or exploring the local farmers' market, we are always on the go! As parents, Neda and I are deeply committed to providing Mana with opportunities for growth and learning. We firmly believe that education is a lifelong journey, and we nurture her curiosity by exposing her to various experiences. Being a family that deeply appreciates nature, we often venture outdoors to explore and revel in the beauty of the natural world. Whether it's hiking in the mountains, enjoying a day at the beach, or taking leisurely strolls in local parks, we find joy in discovering new ways to foster Mana's love for nature. Bird-watching excursions, teaching her about local flora and fauna, and encouraging her to explore and discover on her own are just a few of the ways we nurture her appreciation for the world around her. Our family thrives on togetherness, engaging in activities such as playing games, reading books, and partaking in other endeavors that strengthen our bond and create lasting, happy memories.
